Mystery disease kills horses in Maryland

Experts are trying to identify the neurological disease that killed three horses at a facility in Laurel, Md. Officials have ruled out a bacterial infection, and are considering herpes or West Nile Virus as the causes of death. The 80 remaining horses kept at the stables are being closely monitored. A show planned for next weekend has been cancelled.
