Biodiesel co-product has high feed value

At a tractor pull, University of Missouri Beef Nutritionist Monty Kerley enjoys watching hopped up beasts pull a sled down a dirt track, but his interest piques especially with the machines that are powered with biodiesel. Kerley is doing research on how a biodiesel co-product, crude glycerol, performs in beef rations. Kerley is interrupted by one of the machines as he explains that research is also being done on feeding the same thing to swine and poultry.
