Poll finds trust in farmers, but concerns about food safety

An annual survey of Iowa consumers finds that interest in food continues to spike, mirroring national trends—and that Iowans overwhelmingly approve of the job farmers do.

But it also reflects growing anxiety over food safety and food labeling issues.

We discussed the survey results with Aaron Putze, coordinator of the Iowa Food & Family Project.
