Kicking off the Indiana State Fair

The 2014 Indiana State Fair is underway and it is celebrating the “Year of the Coliseum”.  Indiana governor Mike Pence says it is a great way to connect agriculture to the fair goer.  “The Indiana State Fair has been a tradition for a century and a half,” he says.  “It’s really a celebration of the past, present and future of agriculture in this state.   I really think this is going to be the best state fair ever – with our newly renovated Coliseum and lots of new attractions and exhibitions.  I think Hoosiers are going to find this a great family value for 17 days in August.”
