Seed treatments and clean fields key in 2020

Cool, wet weather in 2019 created problems for many farmers. Jeff Mueller, BASF Seed Agronomist tells Brownfield one of the lessons learned last year is that there are advantages to having a good seed treatment.

Idle acres in 201 created a perfect seed bed for weeds. Mueller advises growers to use multiple modes of action and residuals in the 2020 growing season. He tells Brownfield weeds are a lot easier to kill when they are small and starting out clean is key.
