Helena’s Austin Anderson: Adjuvants Key to Maximizing Crop Protection Performance in 2026

Cyndi Young interviews Austin Anderson with Helena at 2026 Commodity Classic

Adjuvants continue to play an important role in helping farmers get the most out of their crop protection programs.

At the 2026 Commodity Classic, Brownfield caught up with Austin Anderson, who says growers should remember that not all adjuvants are created equal.

Anderson, Brand Manager for Adjuvants at Helena Agri-Enterprises, says the right adjuvant can deliver real agronomic value by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of pesticide applications.

He says despite some uncertainty in agriculture, he’s optimistic about the year ahead and the role the industry plays in supporting farmers.

Anderson tells Brownfield Helena will continue to serve as a center of stability and innovation, helping growers navigate regulatory challenges such as the Endangered Species Act while preparing for the return of dicamba applications in some systems.

He says Helena is focused on helping growers understand the tools available to them and how to use them effectively. Adjuvants, he adds, are a key part of making sure crop protection products perform as intended while helping farmers apply them as efficiently and responsibly as possible.

“Ultimately, it’s about helping farmers be successful,” Anderson says.
