During the months of September 2024, December 2024, and March 2025, Beck’s will recognize outstanding high school athletes who demonstrate that they are a Player with Heart. At Beck’s, we are and will remain, Farmers at Heart™.

Scholarship winners will be selected and contacted by Beck’s representatives in April 2025.

Keegan Diehl – Chillicothe, OH

Keegan Diehl was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field and court. The thing Keegan loves most about high school sports is the comradery as well as being part of a team to work together for a common goal. He participates in FCA, 4H, and Buckeye Boys State, plays football, basketball, and baseball, and contributes to community service activities. He is also a teacher assistant, an FFA officer, and a student union treasurer. Keegan’s grandfather has always farmed, and he always enjoyed helping others. He loved going to the farm and experiencing a life not everyone has the opportunity to. Keegan always takes steer to the county fair and enjoys working hard. Being heavily involved in 4H and FFA has allowed him to show others and explain the importance of agriculture. Keegan is hoping to become a teacher, and a coach, and work on a farm part-time.

Trevor Stearns – Mendon, OH

Trevor Stearns was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the court and field. The thing he loves most about high school sports is the competition and giving his best every day. Trevor is involved in many activities, including cross country, basketball, track and field, band, foreign language club, FFA, church youth group, and a competitive basketball club. To Trevor, agriculture is the backbone of America. It teaches hard work, integrity, and survival skills. Agriculture is also all about having a family who supports each other so they can help other families. Trevor plans on attending a four-year college to major in criminal justice or science and society. He hopes to run track or play basketball in college and is looking at the possibility of working for a spot on the Olympic team in 4 to 8 years.

Owen Willoby – Jackson Center, OH

Owen Willoby was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field and course. What he loves most about high school sports is the competition. He enjoys competing against other people and wants to challenge himself to be better in each race. Owen has enjoyed becoming a leader on both teams and likes encouraging the younger teammates. Owen is involved in cross country, track and field, FFA, and FCA. Through FFA, he has participated in the canned food drive, worked at Christmas in the Village, helped out with Food on the Farm, and planned a 5K event that will split the profits between the FFA chapter, and an organization called SCARF (Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation). To Owen, agriculture is the backbone of American society and is an industry that will forever be in his heart. Growing up in agriculture, he has always had a great appreciation for it. He would help his family bale hay and has worked a summer job for a farmer family friend. In the future, Owen plans to attend Ohio Northern University to study electrical engineering and further his athletic career through the cross country and track teams.

Taylor Barton – Sabina, OH

Taylor Barton was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court and field. What she loves most about high school sports is participating as a part of a team where she can work alongside other people who have the same goals as her. She also enjoys teaching and working with the young athletes in her community through camps and youth leagues. Taylor is a member of the varsity softball and volleyball teams as well as captain for both teams. She is an active member of her FFA chapter where she competes on the livestock judging team. She is also a member of the East Clinton National Honor Society where she holds the officer position of historian. Outside of school, Taylor is a member of the Final Drive 4-H club and has participated in the Deans Charity Steer Show at the Ohio State Fair. Her celebrity team and she partnered with Ohio State University and Ronald McDonald House Charities to raise over $17,000. To Taylor, agriculture is the heart of civilization. Without it, humans could not survive. The agricultural community has made her who she is today. It has taught her many lessons in hard work, determination, teamwork, leadership, reliability, responsibility, respect, kindness, and love. It has also taught her how to take care of her animals, other humans, the environment, and the land she has been given. Taylor plans on applying to the Southern State Community College nursing program this winter. After receiving her RN license, she hopes to enroll in a BSN program. She also wishes to continue improving her show cattle breeding herd as well as her involvement in the family farming operation and the agricultural community.

Libbie Baker – West Unity, OH

Libbie Baker was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. What she loves most about high school sports is being able to play with her friends and build some of the closest relationships with other grade levels. Libbie participates in volleyball and basketball. She is also involved in FFA as an officer, National Honor Society, and student council. Outside of school and sports, Libbie is a member of Solid Rock Community Church, she exhibits animals at the Williams County Fair and has logged over 40 hours of community service. Agriculture means the world to Libbie, not only because it is a staple in everyday life, but because she has always grown up on a farm. This has allowed her to understand the hard work and dedication it takes to be involved in the agricultural field. Libbie plans on attending college to get a degree in dietetics and nutrition. Another reason why agriculture is a big part of her life is because she truly cares where her food comes from and the way it impacts the quality of life.

Brynn Waters – West Lafayette

Brynn Waters was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. The thing she loves most about high school sports is how it brings everyone in the Ridgewood community together to watch the sports activities. Brynn is involved in volleyball, National Honor Society, and her FFA chapter. Outside of school and sports Brynn works First Farm Fridays every single year. Her father and her bring in their sprayer and explain to the kids what it does. She has also participated in the Earth Day field trip for the 5th graders in her county. She has donated canned goods to her local food pantry. Agriculture to Brynn means family. Her family owns a hog farm, so she plans on working there once she completes college. She also associates family with her FFA chapter. When she first started FFA she knew little to no one in the chapter. They welcomed her in with open arms and have been a second family to her ever since. Brynn plans on going to a four year university and majoring in agricultural economics. After that, she plans on working at her family farm’s office.

Carter Lampe – Bowling Green, OH

Carter Lampe was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field and court. The thing he loves most about being able to compete alongside some of his best friends day in and day out. He has gained so many friendships that he can’t imagine doing any of his sports without them. Carter is a 4-year member of the football, basketball, and track teams, where he has been a captain for two years. He is also involved in FFA, where he is the current president, student council, Knights Have Your Back, National Honor Society, and FCA. Carter also actively participates in 4-H as the current president where he takes on various projects. He is also involved with his church where he helps with VBS and other ministries. Agriculture has been a part of Carter’s way of life. Being on the farm has allowed him to learn so many lifelong skills, such as dedication, work ethic, and consistency. He will also take his growing passion for the livestock industry with him into the future. Although undecided on where to go, Carter plans to attend college, major in animal science, and then go to vet school.

Myles Montgomery – Minford, OH

Myles Montgomery was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field and court. What he loves most about high school sports is competing and watching the community come together to watch. Every team he has been on has grown close with each other and the community as a whole. He has also made friendships that will last a lifetime through high school sports. Myles is involved in the Minford varsity soccer and basketball teams. He is also involved in many school clubs including Bible club, art club, Spanish club, National Honor Society, and FFA. Outside of school, he participates in 4-H, helps at the local food pantry, works basketball and soccer camps, and trains kids to help with their basketball skills. Agriculture means a lot to Myles. His whole life he has grown up on the farm with his family. He has incorporated agriculture with everything he does in life and it has taught him hard work and toughness. Myles plans to attend West Liberty University and continue his athletic career playing basketball. He is planning on majoring in exercise physiology and after he graduates he plans on going to physical therapy school. He would like to thank God for getting him to the positions he is in today and being with him along the way.

Isaac Detty – Chillicothe, OH

Isaac Detty was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the course, field, and pools. The thing he loves most about high school sports is being able to spend time with his friends in cross country and being able to run and compete together. Isaac competes in cross country, track, and swim. Outside of sports, he is involved in the Zane Trace FFA poultry judging team, wildlife team, food science team, and ag sales team. He is also part of the Food For All committee, where he collects food items that would be thrown away and he donates it to local food pantries. He also participates in picking up litter alongside the road for runners in a local race that went through areas with lots of trash. Agriculture to Isaac is one of the most important things. Without agriculture, he believes people wouldn’t be able to eat their favorite foods and so much more. After he graduates high school, Isaac plans to become a natural resource law officer and continue his poultry production business in the future.

Hunter Muehlfeld – Bryan, OH

Hunter Muehlfeld was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field and court. What he loves most about high school sports is the sense of community and family it creates. There is an amazing energy around the games, where students, families, and even alumni come together to support their teams. It’s not just about the competition—it’s about school spirit, personal growth, and the friendships that form along the way. He also believes it is inspiring to see athletes who are balancing academics and their sports careers, really showing determination and resilience. Hunter competes in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He is also involved in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and an internship program where he is interning at AC Schroder Farms and E&R Hogs. He has been a scholar athlete in all three sports for the last 4 years as well as a NWOAL scholar athlete as a senior. Outside of school and sports, Hunter participates in Heartland 4H and shows pigs at his local fair. He volunteers for various events his community holds with the National Honor Society, such as an annual Easter egg hunt, Special Friend Day at the elementary school, Barnfest, field day, and many more activities. As a soccer player, he volunteers for his community, and giving back is a high priority for his coach. The team cleans up the park and helps clean up trash at their local Jubilee in town. Agriculture to Hunter is the heart of sustainability and connection to the land. It’s not just about farming or producing food—it’s about understanding nature’s cycles and respecting the earth. Agriculture involves care, knowledge, and a deep sense of responsibility. As a son and grandson of generations of farmers, it’s truly a way of life and he enjoys all that he has learned from his father and grandfather about farming and what farming was like for past generations compared to where it is now. Hunter plans on attending Trine University to major in design engineering technology and minor in agricultural engineering. His goal is to work in the agricultural industry designing ways to make farming more efficient for the farmers. 

Addison Naus – Bowling Green, OH

Addison Naus was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the course and field. She loves everything about high school sports. The friendships she has made, the discipline and lessons she has learned, the hard work that goes into practices and races, and even the delicious food at team dinners. However, most importantly, she loves the positive comradery amongst her teammates and her. She enjoys that sports are not only about competition and winning; they are instead about building bonds with teammates and the community while working together to achieve a common goal and grow stronger. The sports Addison competes in include cross country as the captain and track and field as the distance captain. She is also involved in FFA as the President, DECA, and National Honors Society. Through FFA she has participated in soil judging, public speaking, a job interview contest, food science, agronomy, and ag-sales. Outside of school and sports, Addison dedicates her time to volunteering at various events including the Wood County Junior Fair Board Secretary, Crim Elementary 2nd and 7 Program, Bobcat-A-Thon Dance Marathon Committee, creator/event coordinator of Making a Difference One Toy at a Time BGCS District Wide Toy Drive, Wood County Junior Fair Royalty Court 1st Runner Up Fair Queen. Agriculture is everything to Addison as it truly provides the foundation for America, offering the building blocks that keep society going. It’s not only about livestock and crop production but also about growth, leadership, and communication. It’s a passion that connects hard work with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, allowing the world to grow and flourish. Growing up in agriculture has provided her with the skill set she needs to become successful in the near future and has given her so many opportunities to grow, learn, and become the best version of herself. Addison is committed to attending Wilmington College to study ag business and agronomy with a concentration in marketing. She will be competing in cross country and track and field during her time there. She is beyond excited to continue to do what she loves and spread awareness and knowledge about agriculture for the rest of her life.

Noelle Fox – Pettisville, OH

Noelle Fox was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. What she loves most about high school sports is the friendships and relationships she has built with her teammates. The bond formed through countless hours of practice, long bus rides, and tough games is something truly special. As a senior, Noelle has especially enjoyed mentoring younger players and being a support system for them, whether it’s offering words of encouragement, a quick hug, or even a prayer when they need it. She has also taken pride in being a positive role model for the team managers, making sure they feel just as valued as the players on the court. Beyond the relationships, high school sports have taught her the importance of time management. Balancing late-night games and the demands of College Credit Plus classes has challenged her to stay organized and disciplined. Throughout high school, Noelle has been actively involved in academics, athletics, and leadership opportunities that have shaped her character and work ethic. She has been a member of the basketball and volleyball teams for all four years. Outside of sports, she is involved in FCCLA and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is currently serving as an FFA Officer, helps as a Student Advisor, and has earned her Chapter and Greenhand Degrees. Additionally, she anticipates earning her State FFA Degree in May. She has competed in Dairy Cattle and General Livestock Career Development Events (CDEs). Noelle also participates in her church youth group. This summer, she will also be attending a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Making a positive impact in her community has been a priority for Noelle throughout high school. Through her involvement in service projects such as the Pettisville Recycling Center and Pettisville Community Clean-Up, she has contributed to sustainability efforts and assisted elderly residents with yard maintenance. Volunteering at the Fulton County Fair Pork and Milkshake Stands allowed her to support her local FFA chapter, while her work with Toys for Cheer helped provide meals and gifts to families in need. Noelle has also been committed to improving safety in her school by assisting with the creation and distribution of “Stop the Bleed” emergency kits. Educating younger students at Ag Fest and Farm Machinery Safety Day has been especially rewarding, as she has helped foster a greater understanding of agriculture and farm safety. Agriculture has always held a special place in Noelle’s heart, despite not growing up on a farm. Her journey into the field took a surprising turn when she announced she would be working on a pig farm last summer. Being surrounded by squealing piglets and learning to vaccinate, notch ears, trim tails, and maintain clean, safe environments ignited her passion for animal care and the agriculture industry. This hands-on experience revealed how much she could contribute to animal welfare and sustainable farming practices. With her education, leadership, and dedication to the future of farming, she is confident that she will make a meaningful contribution to the agriculture industry. Noelle is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness with a focus on animal production at Huntington University. She is excited to learn more about advancements in animal care and the role of technology in improving farm efficiency. She aims to combine her education and leadership experiences to contribute to her community and foster the growth of sustainable agriculture. Her long-term goal is to own and manage a farm where she can apply the practices she has learned and promote humane animal care.

Rojina Rai – Cincinnati, OH

Rojina Rai was nominated as Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the field. Her favorite part about high school sports is spending time with her teammates and just having fun. She has had to make a lot of decisions in her life and choosing to play sports was one of the best. Overall, high school sports has taught her to be courageous and has given her a lot of confidence. To Rojina, agriculture is very important. She enjoys growing plants and enjoys how diverse and unique everything in agriculture is. But the best thing about agriculture is that it creates a long-lasting connection between people. Rojina is involved in FFA, soccer, cross country, Illustrate Memoir, Awaken at Aiken coffee roasting business, Health Champion, and Agriculture Career Tech Pathway at her high school. Rojina’s future plans are to attend college and continue to play sports as well as her involvement in agriculture.

Gabriel Blissenbach – Lisbon, OH

Gabriel Blissenbach was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the mat. His favorite part about high school sports is the lessons learned and the memories made. He has always been very competitive and competing in sports allows Gabriel to push himself to be the best he can. Agriculture has always been special to Gabriel. From a young age, his parents have taught him the importance of agriculture and the impact it has on the world. He was raised on a farm tending horses, sheep, goats, and cattle. Gabriel is involved in NHS, FFA, football, wrestling and baseball. He is also involved in Boy Scouts where he has participated in a multitude of service projects and has just recently obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. His future plans are to attend college to pursue a career in environmental science or forestry. He would also like to wrestle at the collegiate level.

Ava Angel – Crown City, OH

Ava Angel was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the field. Her favorite part about high school sports is getting to play with her friends while representing her school and community. She says it’s fun to build a strong team through bonding and activities. To Ava, agriculture means passion and love. The people in ag all have a love and passion for their careers that is unmatched. Her passion is with the equine industry. She loves to show her reined cow horses and do sporting events. Ava is involved in key club, softball and FFA, where she serves as her chapter treasurer and participates in soil judging, livestock judging and ag sales teams. In her community she helps out with the youth fair board, umpires softball games and serves as her 4-H chapter president. Her future plans are to play college softball and major in agriculture where she hopes to someday become a large animal veterinarian.

Kendra Walp – Shelby, OH

Kendra Walp was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. Her favorite part about high school sports is the bond she creates with her teammates. She says being able to experience the dedication everyone has first hand is a great feeling, and she loves being able to support and encourage her teammates. To Kendra, agriculture is very important, as it has taught her grit, hard work, and dedication. Agriculture supports our country and the world, and knowing that she is a part of that and involved in the future feels amazing to her. Kendra is involved in volleyball, softball, student council, FFA and Richland County Junior Fair Board. Her future plans are to attend college and earn a four-year degree, and eventually create a successful future for herself. She is grateful for all of the opportunities, support and encouragement she gets from her peers, teachers, coaches and family.

Selvin Vasquez-Velasquez – Cincinnati, OH

Selvin Vasquez-Velasquez was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field. His favorite things about high school sports are teamwork, competition and leadership. Agriculture means a lot to Selvin, as it reminds him of growing up farming in Guatemala with his dad. He gets to stay involved with agriculture through school. Selvin is involved in cross country, soccer, NHS, FFA, and GE Scholars. Through his school’s Agriculture Career Tech Pathway, he is able to help maintain and expand the school farm. After graduating, Selvin plans to attend a university and find a career that offers him the opportunity to provide for his family.

Will Browning – Ridgeway, OH

Will Browning was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the green. His favorite part about high school sports is playing with friends and meeting new people from other schools that he would not have been able to meet otherwise. To Will, agriculture is the foundation of the community he lives in, and he respects all the hard work that goes into every aspect of it. Will is involved in golf, marching band, FFA, 4-H and both school and community theatre programs. Will would like to play golf in college and hopes to become a golf course designer. He hopes in the future he can give back to the sport and impact others the way he has been impacted.

Kobe Foor – Oakwood, OH

Kobe Foor was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field. His favorite part about high school sports is getting to meet a variety of people and building lifetime friendships. To Kobe, agriculture is everything. Wherever you look, you’ll see it whether you realize it or not. Kobe is involved in FFA, football, baseball, stunting, Habitat for Humanity and Crushing Cans for Cancer. After high school, Kobe plans to go to a trade school.

Morgan Hall – Farmdale, OH

Morgan Hall was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. Her favorite part about high school sports is getting to play with athletes in many grades, building new friendships and learning how to be a team player. To Morgan, agriculture is about family. She grew up on a family farm, Hallbrook Farm, with her papa, dad and uncle, and loves to help them work on equipment, harvests and other tasks. Morgan is involved in volleyball, softball, basketball, Jr. Beta Club, Spanish Club and volunteers in various activities in her community. Morgan’s future plans are to study agronomy at Ohio State ATI and become a partner of her family farm after high school.

Addyson Blazer – East Rochester, OH

Addyson Blazer was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. Her favorite parts about high school sports are the family aspect within the team, the feeling of having the community behind you and being able to represent the community in a positive way. To Addyson, agriculture gives her a sense of belonging. Both of her parents were heavily involved in ag, and she has been involved since she first learned to walk. Addyson is involved in yearbook committee, Principals Advisory Council, Jr. Fair Committee, soccer and basketball. She is also NHS president and 4-H president. Her future plans are to continue her academic and athletic career and major in mathematic so she can pursue a career in actuary sciences.

Jonathan Domer – Dover, OH

Jonathan Domer was nominated as Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field. His favorite parts about high school sports are learning to work together as a team, building friendships and developing leadership skills. To Jonathan, agriculture is about carrying on family traditions and making an impact not only locally, but also on a global scale as well. He is involved in FFA, Drug Free Clubs of America, wrestling, football, 4-H, County Junior Fair Board and church youth group. Jonathan’s future plans are to run heavy equipment and start a small-scale farm operation after graduation.

Jonathan Hildebrand, South Charleston, OH

Jonathan Hildebrand was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field. Jonathan’s favorite part about high school sports is the friendships that will last a lifetime. Along with the relationships comes a ton of fun memories that will make for good stories in the future. Jonathan grew up in agriculture and it’s something he couldn’t see himself living without. Agriculture has shaped him into who he is today and has instilled in him many essential qualities. Jonathan is involved in football, basketball, baseball, FFA, NHS, and DECA. He plans to attend a four-year university and pursue a degree related to agriculture. Jonathan hopes to one day have his own cow-calf operation. 

Jacob Wiechart, Fort Jennings, OH

Jacob Wiechart was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field. His favorite part of high school sports is being able to compete with others and meeting players from different schools. To Jacob, agriculture means experiencing different opportunities and friendships and learning hard work and dedication. Jacob is involved in baseball, FFA, and 4-H, and participates in community service with those groups. After graduation, Jacob plans to attend college and hopes to further his life in the agricultural field. 

Austin Manning, Ripley, OH

Austin Manning was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field. His favorite part of high school sports is the competition they provide as well as the friendships and life lessons that come out of them. To Austin, agriculture means having a role in providing for the world. He is involved in FFA and basketball. Once Austin graduates, he plans to attend a 4-year university to pursue a degree in agriculture education. 

Aidan Harbage – South Charleston, OH 

Aidan Harbage was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. His favorite part about high school sports is the friendships he has made and getting to have fun with his friends. With living and working on a farm, agriculture has taught Aidan responsibility, accountability, and work ethic that is required to succeed. Aidan is involved in baseball, Global Impact Stem Academies, FFA, and has served as class president and executive team treasurer. He is also involved in numerous community activities. After graduation, Aidan plans to attend college for an animal science or range management degree and then will return to his family farm. 

Allison Michaels, Clyde, OH 

Allison Michaels was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the green. Her favorite part about high school golf is getting the opportunity to play various courses that she would not otherwise be able to play. She also enjoys meeting people from other schools and has met some of her best friends through sports. Agriculture means a lot to Allison as she has grown up farming which has helped her build a deeper bond with her family. She also has learned responsibility and planning as she currently rents her own land and hopes to purchase more in the future. Allison is involved in golf, FFA, National Honor Society, 4-H, and yearbook committee. After graduation, Allison plans to attend Wilmington College to major in agricultural education with hopes of becoming a high school agricultural science teacher and a future FFA advisor. 

Katie Woodruff, Wakeman, OH 

Katie Woodruff was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the court. Her favorite part about high school sports is competing with friends and being a leader for her team. To Katie, agriculture is a way of life that she has grown to love. She has found her passion in her livestock projects and learned the importance of taking care of your animals and providing food for the community. Katie is involved in basketball, cross country, track and field, FFA, student council, TLC, yearbook club, 4-H, and National Honor Society, and serves as a lector at her local church. After graduation, Katie plans to pursue an agriculture degree related to animal science. 

Kelsey Snyder, Shelby, Ohio

Kelsey Snyder was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the field. Her favorite part about softball is controlling the tempo of the game as the pitcher. In soccer, she enjoys playing defense. She loves the friendships she’s made and the coaches she’s had while playing high school sports. Agriculture is a large part of Kelsey’s life and has taught her hard work and responsibility. Kelsey plays softball and soccer, is Vice President of her FFA chapter, and actively involved in 4-H. After graduation, Kelsey wants to go to college for a degree related to agriculture and would love to judge livestock at a collegiate level and continue playing softball. 

Austin Boedeker, Fayette, Ohio

Austin Boedeker was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. His favorite part about high school sports is playing with his friends whom he calls brothers. His friends are like brothers to him because of the close bond they share on the field. Agriculture means everything to Austin. He was raised in a farming family and thinks that everything you look at in life can tie back to agriculture in one way or another. Growing up on a farm he realizes, more than most, the importance of agriculture and to him it is a lifestyle. Austin is involved in football, basketball, and baseball. He is also in FFA and is a part of the soils, agronomy, and Envirothon CDE teams. Once Austin graduates, he plans to get a degree in something Ag related or join a trade. 

Joyeuse Muhorakeye, Cincinnati, Ohio

Joyeuse Muhorakeye was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the field. Her favorite thing about high school sports is that it gives kids an opportunity to enhance, embrace and show their talents to the rest of the world. She also loves the bonds that are created through sports. To Joyeuse agriculture was a huge part of her childhood. She grew up on a small farm called “Akarima Kigikoni” where she grew vegetables. Agriculture reminds her of where she came from and makes her feel like she is giving back to the world. Joyeuse is involved in soccer, cross country, FFA, track, Adventure Crew, Democracy and Me (a student podcast), and World Play. Joyeuse is from the country of Rwanda and is very involved in her community. She is also a part of College Hill Agriculture Resource Management which helps to solve the problem of food security in her community.

Kylie Snyder, Washington Court House, Ohio

Kylie Snyder was selected as a Beck’s Player With Heart for her efforts on and off the field. Her favorite thing about high school sports is the coaching staff and the bond she has made with all the other girls. Agriculture is a huge part of Kylie’s life. It means hard work, effort, and dedication to something that will always be there. Kylie is involved in softball, marching band, school plays and is very active in FFA. After graduation, Kylie would like to play college softball and study agribusiness.

Grant Mastin, Jackson, OH
Senior ILB | Tackles for Tots | Family Farm
Mastin was selected as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. He has created his own foundation called Tackles for Tots as a way to give back to his community through shoe donations. To Mastin, football teaches discipline and valuable life lessons. He is also involved in FFA, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Leo Club, and Student Health Council. After graduating high school, Mastin will pursue a business degree on a pre-law track.
