Brownfield Ag News Launches “Inside D.C.” Weekly Farm Policy Program Covering Farm Bill, Regulations, and Producer Issues
From farm bills to regulatory challenges, America’s farmers and ranchers face a wide range of policy-related issues. Brownfield Ag News has launched Inside D.C., a weekly program that takes a deep dive into these issues and why they matter.
Each Monday, Missouri-based anchor and reporter Carah Hart hosts a conversation with policymakers and subject-matter experts to break down the decisions made in the Beltway and how they impact farms and ranches across the country.
“The decisions made in Washington, D.C. don’t stay there; they directly influence the price of seed, feed, fuel costs, crop insurance options, and the rules farmers work under every season,” says Inside D.C. host Carah Hart. “When farmers understand how policy impacts their operation, they can plan ahead and protect their future. Inside D.C. is designed to give them the insight they need to make confident, informed decisions.”
The program launched in December 2025. Previous episodes can be found on Brownfield TV on the Brownfield Ag News website, on Brownfield’s YouTube channel, and under the Video tab at AgriAmerica.com and on the AgriAmerica app.
