Erin Anderson joins Brownfield as Anchor/Reporter

Brownfield Ag News is pleased to announce Erin Anderson has joined the Brownfield team as Anchor/Reporter for Indiana and Ohio.
“Erin comes to Brownfield with experience in local radio and a passion for agriculture,” says Meghan Grebner, Brownfield Broadcast Supervisor. “She started working in local radio following her graduation from high school. Through internships and her studies at Purdue University she has been developing her skills ever since. Her love of farm broadcasting and her understanding of agriculture make her a perfect addition to our team, and we’re thrilled to have her.”
Erin grew up on a traditional corn and soybean grain farm in rural Rankin, Illinois. She earned her associate degree from Danville Area Community College in 2022 and later transferred to Purdue University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication in 2024. Erin began working in local radio in Danville, Illinois right out of high school, where she grew to love the farm broadcasting industry. She is a former NAFB Foundation scholarship recipient and a two-time NAFB Foundation intern. Erin currently resides in rural Rankin, Illinois with plans to move to the Greater Lafayette, Indiana area.
“Joining the Brownfield Ag News team is a dream come true,” says Anderson. “I started farm broadcasting at the local level when I was 18. To be able to work with a national agricultural news team on such a large scale in the state where my alma mater is located; it truly is a full circle moment.”
