Anna grew up on a family farm near Harlan, Iowa. She developed a passion for agricultural reporting while competing in the Iowa FFA’s Agricultural Broadcasting Career Development Event. Anna received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media from Northwest Missouri State. She then moved to Des Moines, Iowa to serve as Digital Editor and Farm Broadcaster for the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network. While there, she managed the company’s digital product offerings, produced news and market reports, and coordinated special projects. Prior to joining AgriAmerica, Anna served as Director of Communications for the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, where she concentrated on digital marketing and public relations. Anna and her husband Chase live in Ames, Iowa.
