Mark DePrez
Mark DePrez first encountered farm broadcasting as General Sales Manager of the legendary 50,000 watt, WOWO in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Over the next 18 years, DePrez oversaw WOWO’s connection to the region’s ag community as GSM, General Manager and ultimately COO of WOWO license holder, Pathfinder Communications Inc. During that time, WOWO received numerous awards and achieved record sales.
Upon leaving Pathfinder Communications in 2012, DePrez was retained by Farm Journal Media in a consulting capacity. Over the span of eight years with Farm Journal Broadcasting, DePrez served as consultant, independent contractor, director of business development, VP/General Manager, radio, VP/DOS, broadcasting and finally, VP/producer media sales. DePrez played a vital role in the Farm Journal launch of AgriTalk, leading to record sales and an expanded network.
Over the course of DePrez’ 26-year career in farm broadcasting he served two terms on the board of the National Association of Broadcasting (NAFB). DePrez received a B.S. degree from the University of Dayton where he majored in Broadcast Administration.
