Meghan Grebner

Meghan grew up on a diversified, sixth-generation family farm near Washburn, Illinois. She studied communications and animal science at Western Illinois University and began her broadcast career in local radio, serving as agri-business director before joining Brownfield Ag News in 2011. As Broadcast Supervisor for Brownfield, Grebner brings nearly two decades of experience in agricultural journalism. She was named the 2025 National Association of Farm Broadcasting Farm Broadcaster of the Year. A graduate of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program, she also received the 2009 NAFB Horizon Award, which recognizes an outstanding broadcaster in his or her first five years of professional broadcasting work. Grebner has served as president of the NAFB Foundation since 2021 and sits on the University of Kentucky Southeast Center’s External Advisory Board. She is also actively involved in her local school community, serving as co-chair of the PTO. Meghan and her husband, Brian, reside in Central Kentucky with their twin sons, Hank and Ronan, and their multiple rescue animals.
