Nicole Heslip came to Brownfield in 2015 after working as the Agri-News Reporter for Michigan Farm Radio Network. She grew up working on her family’s dairy farm and custom farming business in Southwest Michigan. Nicole served as an FFA State Officer, Michigan Dairy Ambassador, and National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow officer while in college. The Michigan State University graduate studied Agriculture and Natural Resources Communications with specializations in Agri-Business Management and Public Relations. Nicole and her husband live near her hometown where Kyle is the head brewer and co-owner of a craft brewery with her family. The National Association of Farm Broadcasting Horizon Award winner also serves on her city's Downtown Development Authority and does community outreach for the brewery. They have three young children.
