Why should we eat greens? Green vegetables, especially the leafy kind, are filled with vitamins, minerals and fiber that the body needs. If that isn’t enough to sway you into eating more, consider their potential effects on beauty. Clinical Nutritionist Kimberly Snyder says by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables with an emphasis on greens, you are giving your body a health and beauty boost because greens “digest well”.  She recommends a green smoothie every day as a foundation for good health made of spinach, romaine lettuce, celery, lemon, and other fruits.
