How to choose a lower cholesterol diet

So how do people with high cholesterol blood levels move to a cholesterol lowering diet?  High blood cholesterol is 240 milligrams per deciliter of blood or higher, something a health care professional can tell you by testing your blood.  There are cholesterol lowering medications and in some people diet can also make a big difference. Harvard Medical School says eating healthy foods, losing weight and being more active have the potential to help as well.  First off, choose healthy fats in your diet and use them to replace unhealthy fats.
