Consumer preference when purchasing proteins

A recent study conducted by the United Soybean Board took a closer look at consumer preferences when purchasing animal proteins, particularly pork products.

Carla Schultz, a checkoff farmer-leader from Michigan who raises soybeans and hogs says 70 percent of respondents said the animal’s diet is extremely or very important to consumers.
