Dairy foods’ impact on heart health

Eating dairy foods regularly can help reduce heart disease risks, according to a host of studies. Greg Miller with the Dairy Research Institute says people used to avoid dairy foods because they were concerned about fat content. Dairy foods have some saturated fat but Miller says saturated fat in dairy foods doesn’t raise blood cholesterol to the level you would predict, based on its saturated fat content.
