Flash freezing helps preserve nutrients
Freezing foods preserves some freshness for enjoying later. But does it preserve nutrition? Author Paul Alexander who’s written an E-book about the history of modern frozen foods (“FROZEN: How American Ingenuity Created the TV Dinner and Changed the Way We Eat”) says the flash-freezing method of preserving raw and cooked foods made them very popular. He says that method greatly contributes to the preservation of nutrients in those foods.
