How Halloween can help instill healthy habits

The thought of post-trick-or-treating candy sorting brings back all kinds of childhood nostalgia.  But as a parent today, the thought of letting my kids load up on sugar right at bedtime gives me all the scaries.

Kim Galeaz, a registered dietitian, says don’t be scared.  In fact, Halloween candy is a great way to teach kids about healthy eating and balanced diets.
