Label reading is a must

Because the red meat allergy that is caused by Alpha-Gal Syndrome can present itself in different labels, University of Missouri Extension Educator Eden Stewart says consumers have to be diligent when it comes to reading labels.

In response to the rising cases of Alpha-Gal syndrome, the University of Missouri Extension has published several resource guides to help those who have been diagnosed.
