Putting apples to sleep

Riveridge markets about 60 percent the apples grown in Michigan.

Apple harvest finishes up with the first freeze of fall. The fruit we find over the next twelve months is likely stored in controlled atmospheric rooms, waiting to be delivered to consumers.
