Soy foods safe for those who’ve had breast cancer

Soy foods have a lot going for them health-wise and research shows they can be safely consumed by women who have had breast cancer. Linda Funk is the director of the Soy Foods Council says the concern was over compounds in soy that seemed to mimic estrogen but studies show there is not negative effect from soy foods. October is breast cancer awareness month.
