New office means growth for Ag Connections
A new office will expand a Kentucky-based ag software development partner of Syngenta.
Joe Ben Bogle, Business Manager for Ag Connections, based in Murray, Kentucky says the company only had three employees when it started 20 years ago. The office recently moved from a former tobacco barn to a renovated 1920’s tobacco warehouse.
“This space will give us room to grow in the future. W are around 40 employees today, but this will give us room to grow up to about 75. That will all be new growth here in Murray.”
Bogle says 75 percent of their employees are graduates of local Murray State University, but they operate on a national level. Employees create and support digital ag programs for their corporate parent company, Syngenta.
“Over the years, Ag Connections has developed and improved upon crop record keeping and crop planning solutions for growers to use to help them better understand their cost of production and simplify the overall business of running a farm.”
Bogle says he looks forward to seeing how company growth will help them create new software that simplifies information for farmers.
