Finding a cause and solution for greenhouse gases from silage

A team of researchers at Kansas State University have determined a cause and potential solution for greenhouse gas emissions from silage. The research simulated silage from corn, alfalfa and sorghum, monitoring emissions over a four-week period. Associate Professor of Civil Engineering Jeongdae Im discusses what they discovered and ultimately the next steps toward reducing those emissions.
