Potential in plastics

Stan Nelson serves on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board and is chair of the research committee.  He says the board is investing in research to find new uses for corn that add value to the Iowa farmer.

He tells Brownfield one project involving plastics has the potential to use nearly 100 million bushels of corn per year.
