For a few years, the opportunity for profit has been there for dairy producers to raise beef cattle instead of replacement heifers for the milking herd, but now, buying a replacement dairy cow is 69% more expensive than just a year ago and some producers are raising a few more dairy and a few less beef calves.  Mike North from Ever.ag talks about beef on dairy, next on today’s Managing for Profit.
