USDA’s Federal Milk Marketing Order changes give producers choice of bad order or no order

Dairy farmers around the country can comment now on USDA’s proposed changes to the Federal Milk Marketing Order system, a series of orders that sets guidelines including how milk is paid for based on its use.  USDA’s recommendations are not popular with farmers in the upper Midwest where most of the milk becomes cheese.  Tyler Wenzlaff at Wisconsin Farm Bureau discusses this on today’s Managing for Profit.
