Butter falls while cheese barrels climb Monday in mixed CME dairy trade

Cash dairy prices were mixed Monday to start the week at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.7025. No sales were reported. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were also unchanged at $1.5275. Twelve sales were reported ranging from $1.52 to $1.53.

Cheese barrels were up $0.01 to $1.5750. No sales were reported. 

Butter was down $0.0175 to $1.4450. Sixteen sales were reported ranging from $1.4350 to $1.45. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0250 to $1.7750. Two sales were reported ranging from $1.7850 to $1.7950.
