Cash dairy markets lower except for blocks Wednesday

Cash dairy prices were lower except for block cheese Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.59. No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0075 at $1.6725.  Two sales were recorded at $1.67 and $1.6725. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0050 at $1.6750.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter prices were down $0.04 at $1.9650. Fourteen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.9625 to $1.9725.  

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0125 at $1.1875. Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1875 to $1.1975.
