Cash dairy prices closed lower on Wednesday

Cash dairy prices were lower on Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.6775.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0250 at $1.46.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.45 to $1.46. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.01 at $1.47.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter was down $0.0250 at $1.65.  Twelve sales were recorded, ranging from $1.64 to $1.6575. 

Nonfat dry milk was down 0.0475 at $1.85.  Twenty-one sales were recorded, ranging from $1.81 to $1.8550.
