Cash dairy prices end week mixed

Cash dairy prices were mixed Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was up $0.02 at $0.50.  Two sales were recorded at $0.49 and $0.50. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0175 at $1.6025, more than wiping out Thursday’s gains.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5975 to $1.6050. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0150 at $1.55.  Six sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5475 to $1.56. 

After a couple of quiet trading days, Butter was up $0.0075 at $2.3025.  Fifteen sales were recorded, ranging from $2.30 to $2.31.   

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0050 at $1.1450.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1425 to $1.1450.
