Cash dairy prices higher Thursday

Cash dairy prices were higher except for butter Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was up $0.02 at $0.5450.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $0.5250 to $0.54. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.05 at $1.8975, gaining eleven and three quarters cents in two days.  One sale was recorded at $1.89. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0475 at $1.82.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.76 to $1.82. 

Butter was down $0.01 at $2.3325.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $2.3225 to $2.3325. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0125 at $1.2275.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $1.2250 to $1.2275.
