Cash dairy prices mixed, butter sales up Tuesday

Cash dairy prices were mixed again Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.51.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.02 at $1.64.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0050 at $1.6350.  Two sales were recorded at $1.63 and $1.6350. 

Butter was down $0.0125 at $2.3175.  Twenty-seven sales recorded, ranging from $2.3125 to $2.3225. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0025 at $1.14.  One sale was recorded at that price.
