Cash dairy prices mixed Monday

Cash dairy prices were mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.50.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0175 at $1.62, canceling out Friday’s loss.  Eleven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.61 to $1.62. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.08 at $1.63, putting the barrel price above the block price.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.62 to $1.63. 

Butter was up $0.0275 at $2.33.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0025 at $1.1425.  One sale was recorded at that price.
