Cash dairy prices mostly higher Friday

Cash dairy prices were mostly higher to end the week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.55.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0325 at $1.93, gaining fifteen cents in three days.  Sixteen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.8975 to $1.93. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.06 at $1.88, gaining ten and three quarters cents in the past three days.  One sale was recorded at $1.82. 

Butter was up $0.01 at $2.3425.  Ten sales were recorded, ranging from $2.3425 to $2.35. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0025 at $1.2250.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $1.2250 to $1.23.
