Cash dairy prices mostly lower Friday

Cash dairy prices were mostly lower except butter Friday with light trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.5425. No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0225 at $1.8175.  No sales were recorded. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0125 at $1.77.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter was up $0.0075 at $2.33.  No sales were recorded. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.2075.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.2075 to $1.21.
