Cash dairy prices mostly lower Monday

Cash dairy prices were lower except for nonfat dry milk Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.4775. Three sales were recorded, ranging from $0.4750 to $0.4775. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.06 at $1.7750.  One sale was recorded at $1.8150. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0325 at $1.8075.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $1.81 to $1.8350. 

Butter was down $0.0225 at $2.32.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.1825.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1750 to $1.1825.
