Cash dairy prices mostly lower Thursday at CME

Cash dairy prices were mostly lower on Thursday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was up $0.0025 to $0.68. Four sales were recorded ranging from $0.67 to $0.68. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0300 to $1.49.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.46 to $1.49. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0500 at $1.42.  Three sales were recorded ranging from $1.42 to $1.44. 

Butter was down $0.0100 at $1.64.  Nineteen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.64 to $1.6750. 

Nonfat dry milk was also down 0.0350 at $1.85.  Ten sales were recorded, ranging from $1.8075 to $1.8450.
