Cash dairy prices mostly steady-to-higher Thursday

Cash dairy prices were steady-to-higher Thursday except for nonfat dry milk on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was up $0.01 for a third straight day at $0.48.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0150 at $1.62.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.6050 to $1.62. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5650.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter remains unchanged at $2.2950.  No sales were recorded.   

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0050 at $1.15.  Two sales were recorded at that price.
