Cash dairy prices open week steady to lower

Cash dairy prices were steady-to-lower Monday except butter at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.6350.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.03 at $1.67.  Six sales were recorded, ranging from $1.64 to $1.67. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.71.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter prices were up $0.0150 at $1.62. One sale was recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchange at $1.1275. No sales were recorded.
