Cash dairy prices steady-to-lower Wednesday

Cash dairy prices were steady-to-lower Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.61.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.04 at $1.86. Eight sales were recorded, ranging from $1.85 to $1.86. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.8050.  No sales were recorded,  

Butter was down $0.02at $2.41. Two sales were recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk remained unchanged at $1.34.  Three sales were recorded at that price.
