CME cash dairy prices mixed Monday

Cash dairy prices were mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.5975.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $0.5975 to $0.60. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.01 at $2.12.   Three sales were recorded, ranging from $2.12 to $2.13. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.15 at $2.1475.  Two sales were recorded at $2.1475 and $2.1925.   

The nearly thirty-six cent block-barrel spread from just over a week ago has been nearly eliminated. 

Butter was up $0.0725 at $2.8050.  Sixteen sales were recorded, ranging from $2.7925 to $2.8075. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0025 at $1.36.  One sale was recorded at that price.
