Cash dairy prices closed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in light trade Thursday with only necessary purchasing taking place.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.74.

Blocks unchanged at $1.86.

Barrels unchanged at $1.74.

Butter down $0.0050 at $2.5750. One sale was made at that price.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.01 at $1.3825. Four trades were made at that price from $1.3825 to $1.39.
