CME cash dairy steady to lower Friday

Cash dairy prices were steady to lower Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.47.  Two sales were recorded at $0.47 and $0.48. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0125 at $1.97.   Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.9725 to $1.9875. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0025 at $2.02.  Two sales were recorded at $2.0225. 

Butter was unchanged at $3.09. No sales were recorded. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.1925.  No sales were recorded.
