CME milk futures and cash dairy trade mixed Monday

Milk futures and cash dairy markets were mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

October Class III milk was up $0.13 at $17.29.  November was up $0.06 at $17.40.  December was down $0.12 at $17.73.  January was down $0.04 at $18.11. February through August contracts ranged from unchanged in May and June to fourteen cents lower in February. 

Dry whey was up $0.0225 at $0.3250. No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.78. No sales were recorded. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0175 at $1.5825.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter was up $0.04 at $3.04.  No sales were recorded. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0150 at $1.1550. Five sales were recorded ranging from $1.1550 to $1.16.
