CME milk futures and most cash dairy prices lower Wednesday

Milk futures and most cash dairy markets were lower Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

April Class III milk was down $0.07 at $15.49.  May was down $0.05 at $16.65.  June was down $0.15 at $17.17.  July was down $0.13 at $17.67.  

August through November contracts ranged from one cent lower in August to thirteen cents higher in November.   

Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.3625.  Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $0.3625 to $0.37. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.57.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $1.57 to $1.5825. 

Cheese barrels were down $0.0025 at $1.56.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.54 to $1.56. 

Butter was down $0.04 at $2.93.  Two sales were recorded at that price. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.1450.   No sales were recorded.
