Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly lower Thursday after a bearish supply and demand report and lower cash trade.

April Class III milk unchanged at $15.56. May four cents lower at $16.66. June down 13 cents at $17.19. July 13 cents lower at $17.62. August through October contracts five cents higher to a penny lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.3625. Eight sales were made from $0.36 to $0.3650.

Blocks down $0.06 at $1.51. Two trades were made at $1.51 and $1.52.

Barrels down $0.0125 at $1.5475. One trade was made at that price.

Butter down $0.0375 at $2.8925. Four sales were made at $2.89 and $2.8925.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0050 at $1.15.
