Milk futures down, cash dairy mixed

In Class III milk trade at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wednesday, September milk was down $.13 at $17.91 and October fell $.31 at $17.80, while November was down $.17 at $18 and December lost $.14, also closing at $18.

Cash cheese barrels were down $.015 at $1.835, but blocks were up $.0025 at $2.0175. AA butter was $.0575 higher at $2.75. Grade A nonfat dry milk was $.01 lower at $1.085. Extra grade dry whey was down $.005 at $.2575.
