Most cash dairy prices steady to higher Thursday

Cash dairy prices were steady-to-higher except for butter Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.70.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0450 at $1.82. Three sales were recorded, ranging from $1.80 to $1.82. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.01 at $1.82.  Two sales were recorded at that price. 

Butter was down $0.01 at $2.5125.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $2.5025 to $2.51. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.3525.  No sales were recorded.
