Nonfat dry milk jumps while cheese blocks and butter move lower Thursday at CME

Cash dairy prices were mixed Thursday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    

Dry whey was down $0.01 to $0.73. No sales were reported. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0150 to $1.4950. Thirteen sales were reported ranging from $1.49 to $1.5050. 

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5750. No sales were reported. 

Butter was down $0.0050 to $1.46. Nineteen sales were reported ranging from $1.4450 to $1.46. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0175 to $1.85. Seven sales were reported at $1.85.
